Development of total mortality and cause-specific mortality in V4 countries since the beginning of the millennium
Trejbal, Filip ; Altová, Anna (advisor) ; Kulhánová, Ivana (referee)
Development of total mortality and cause-specific mortality in V4 countries since the beginning of the millennium Abstract The main aim of this thesis is to describe and evaluate the development of total mortality and mortality by selected causes in V4 countries within the period 2000-2018. The thesis focuses especially on analysing the long-term, eventually incipient mortality trends and comparing individual countries, i. e. Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Life expectancy at birth and at the age of 65 is used to analyze the development of total mortality. The development of cause- specific mortality is assessed using standardized mortality rates and the contributions of age groups and groups of causes of death to changes in the life expectancy at birth. Improving mortality conditions within the V4 were observed and evidenced by the increase in life expectancy at birth and at age 65 in all countries over almost the entire period. This favourable development was primarily due to a decrease of mortality from circulatory diseases, especially in older age (65+). It was also found that in the new millennium, the trend of increasing mortality from some causes of death, such as mental disorders and diseases of the nervous system, appeared in the V4 countries. There has also been a diversification of the...
Assessment and Development of Visual Perception in Preschool Children
Felcmanová, Lenka
Thesis Assessment and Development of Visual Perception in Preschool Children responds to the need of broader selection of standardized tools designed for the assessment of actual development of visual perception in preschool children, especially in relation to the assessment of school readiness. The main aim of the thesis is standardization of a new assessment tool. Complementary aim is also to design and evaluate a new intervention program supporting development of selected areas of visual perception for children before and at the beginning of their school attendance. In its theoretical part thesis scrutinizes current findings in the area of visual perception and its relation to basic academic skills, especially reading. The explorative part of thesis presents standardization study based on classical model of Test theory consisting of convergent validity and reliability evaluation of proposed test and setting national norms for four age groups (from 5 to 7 years). Normative group covered 1234 participants.

Tests and testing of sign language abilities of deaf children
Chmátalová, Zuzana ; Petráňová, Romana (advisor) ; Hudáková, Andrea (referee)
This bachelors thesis deals with the assessment of skills in sign language. It includes a deep insight into the general issue of evaluation methods (especially of creating tests) as well as description of selected tests of sign language. Part of the work is devoted to modifications of existing tests to which process linguists and other experts now often tend. Also is introduced a specific modification procedure of selected sign language test into Czech sign language. This should serve in the future to a complete version of such test.
Finalisation of development and verification of Flow123d software within the DECOVALEX 2015 project
Blaheta, Radim ; Maryška, J. ; Březina, J. ; Stebel, J. ; Šembera, J. ; Balvín, A. ; Bruský, I. ; Hasal, Martin ; Michalec, Zdeněk ; Staš, Lubomír ; Sysala, Stanislav
This final report summarizes the progress of work and results for the whole period of the project. The subject is modelling of tasks within the project Decovalex-2015, development of Flow123d software, and preparation of documents for its standardization using the comparison results with foreign teams. TUL team participated in Task C1 (THMC processes in a single fracture) using the software Geochemist’s Workbench and their own tool TrAper for connecting chemistry and deformation and Task C2 (flow and transport in the vicinity of the tunnel Bedřichov) using Flow123d software. Task C2 also includes the formulation of the assignment and coordination of the solution of other teams. The ÚGN team participated in Task A, focusing on saturation of bentonite seals in clay rock and closing the gap, with the help of the COMSOL Multiphysics software. The outputs are the joint report by international teams and papers in a special issue of a journal. The developed models and lessons learned contribute to the ability to predict phenomena in the deep geological repository. Another result is a set of documents for the Flow123d software. All of which are attached to the report as attachments.

Aim of this paper is to explain basic principles in the creation of an expert methodology in Forensic ecotechnique: forest and trees in terms of standardization and harmonization. The result of such a standardization process should be the standard (standard practice) to use for 7777standard for the uniform assessment procedures and the possibility of answering questions on the task. These standards should be within a forensic activities meet legislative requirements Czech Republic.
Landscape character in the expert opinions typology of forensic ecotechnique: forest and trees
Honzová, Markéta
The paper deals with the issue of landscape character within the expert opinions typology of Forensic ecotechnique: forest and trees. Expert opinions regarding landscape character are classified according to the character of task. There is determining the degree of content complexity of questions of the contracting authority and discipline of expert activities. Examples of particular types of expert opinions together with analysis of difficulty and solution procedure enable their gradual standardisation which represents an instrument to increase exactness of relevant expert opinions.
